Together we own and run the" Rila Heights Guest House" situated in the village of Madjare high in the Rila mountain range.
Both originally from Northern Ireland we offer all the comforts of home and a warm Irish welcome awaits all our guests.
We are only a short drive from Bulgaria's
premier ski resort "Borovets" and the
smaller resorts of "Maliovitsa" and Govedartsi".
Here you will find ski runs for both beginners and the more experienced , world class cross country skiing and of course Snow Boarding.
Ski-Doo safaris are available and the children are well catered for too with designated "Kids" areas ,sledge/bumboard hire & Sleigh Rides
Daily transport to and from the slopes is included and a delicious homecooked dinner awaits you on your return.
If you need a break from skiing ,day trips to the capital city "Sofia" and "Rila Monastery"(unesco world heritage site) are available.
